PEACE OFF
ESCIF's first solo exhibition in Germany to date brings together an oeuvre of different original works of art in different media and formats under the exhibition title “Peace Off”. The artist developed these exclusively for the exhibition at the AMUSEUM based on the projects he has implemented in Munich since 2016.
The exhibition is based on the artist's long-standing collaboration with the Munich art association Positive-Propaganda, and was created in collaboration with the artistic director Sebastian Pohl. The background to the exhibition, which has been planned for several years, is a large number of interventions in Munich's public space, including the mural "Said by the Flower", which was realized in a prominent location in Munich's Bahnhofsviertel in response to the refugee crisis in 2015.
The works shown publicly for the first time in ESCIF's exhibition include sculptures, a video work, a variety of watercolor drawings and large-format paintings on canvas.
Exhibition duration: September 15, 2023 to June 30, 2024
